MOTOPOWER MP69033 OBD2 Scanner (Professional): This OBD2 car diagnostic tool can scan, fix, and erase fault codes. It features a multi-function OBD2 code reader with a built-in DTC lookup library, which helps determine the cause of the engine light, read codes, erase codes, view freeze frame, check I/M readiness, vehicle information, data flow, real-time curve, and get vehicle speed information, load value, engine coolant temperature, and engine speed.
The tool supports 9 protocols compatible with most 1996 US-based, 2000 EU-based, and Asian cars, as well as newer OBD II and CAN domestic or import vehicles. It supports 6 languages: English, German, Dutch, Spanish, French, and Italian.
The OBD2 scanner has a clear 128x64 pixel LCD display with white backlight and contrast adjustment. It is powered directly from the vehicle's OBDII Data Link Connector, so no battery or charger is required.
The compact design features a 2.5-foot long cable and a thick, flexible insulator. There are 6 buttons on the scanner for scrolling up/down, entering/exiting, and quickly querying the VIN and DTC fault codes.
However, the scanner does not support ABS/Airbag codes, as it can only read and clear check engine information that is part of the OBDII system. It cannot work with non-OBDII systems, such as ABS, Airbag, Oil Service Light, etc.
The package includes the OBD2 Scanner Code Reader and an instruction manual. The product is backed by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
